Search for any show by name and follow it. Press play and PodSkip finds the ads in the episode. Free users tap to skip each ad; Pro users can turn on Auto-Skip so ads skip on their own.

Yes. PodSkip works with any podcast that has a public RSS feed, which covers nearly every show on Apple Podcasts. Shows that are exclusive to one app (for example, Spotify exclusives) have no public feed, so PodSkip can't play them.

Yes. PodSkip turns episode audio into text on your device, and no audio is ever uploaded. To find the ads, the episode's transcript text is sent to our server, keyed only by the episode, never linked to you or your device. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Pro: Auto-Skip (ads skip on their own), downloads for offline listening, and priority scanning, so episodes are ready faster. Pro comes as monthly, annual (with a 14-day free trial), or a one-time lifetime purchase.

PodSkip catches pre-roll, mid-roll and end-roll ads, including host-read sponsorships. It isn't perfect, and every report you send from the app helps us fix misses for everyone who listens to that show.

Pro users can download episodes for offline listening. Ads found before you went offline still skip. If an episode hasn't been scanned yet, PodSkip needs a connection to finish the scan, so offline it may miss some ads.

Yes. Play/pause and skip work from the lock screen, Control Center, AirPods and other Bluetooth headphones, and the Now Playing controls on Apple Watch. There is no standalone Apple Watch app yet.

If PodSkip missed an ad, tell us: in the player, tap the "ads detected" pill, then under "How did PodSkip do on this episode?" choose "Missed something". If PodSkip skipped something that wasn't an ad, tap that ad in the same list and choose "Not an ad". Every report goes to our team.

PodSkip supports 18 languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Italian, Hindi, Turkish, Russian, Dutch, Polish, Swedish, Indonesian, Vietnamese, and Thai.

Try force-closing the app (swipe up from the bottom on iPhone X or later, or double-tap home and swipe up). If it still crashes, delete and reinstall from the App Store.

A new episode can take a little while to scan the first time it plays (Pro scans are prioritized). If an ad still isn't caught, tap the "ads detected" pill in the player and choose "Missed something".

Try pausing and resuming playback. If the issue persists, check your internet connection. For downloaded episodes, verify you have enough storage space.

In PodSkip, open Settings, tap "Upgrade to Pro", then tap "Restore Purchases". To check your subscription, open your iPhone's Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions. For billing issues, contact Apple Support.
